What is GM Supplier Pricing?

GM Supplier Pricing is an exclusive, discounted price, not available to the general public, extended to Costco members during the Holiday Sales Event. The GM Supplier Price is listed on the manufacturer's document under the name ‘SUPPLR’.

Which vehicles are available through this promotion?

The savings and special member benefits offered through this promotion are available on the purchase or lease of the following new 2017 and 2018 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicles, between Oct. 3, 2017, and Jan. 2, 2018:

  • Chevrolet: Bolt EV, Camaro, City Express,* Colorado, Corvette, Cruze, Equinox, Express, Impala, Malibu, Silverado, Sonic, Spark, SS, Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, Trax or Volt
  • Buick: Cascada, Encore, Enclave, Envision, LaCrosse or Regal
  • GMC: Acadia, Canyon, Savana, Sierra, Terrain, Yukon or Yukon XL
  • Cadillac: ATS, CT6, CTS, Escalade, XT5 or XTS

What is my GM Authorization Number?

Authorization Numbers are assigned by General Motors to every Costco member who registers for the Holiday Sales Event. You will receive your GM Authorization Number after you register for the promotion; along with a confirmation email for your records. You must bring it with you when visiting the participating dealership. Click here to register.

What is my GM Authorization Number used for?

Your Authorization Number is used by General Motors to ensure buyers qualify for the Holiday Sales Event. You must present your Authorization Number to the Designated Dealer Contact at the time of purchase to be eligible for GM Supplier Pricing and Costco Cash Card offer.

Do I have to pay any dealer fees?

Tax, title (documentation) and license fees are not included in the GM Supplier Price. Unless otherwise allowed by law, dealers will charge $75 for documentation fees. Destination and advertising fees are included in the GM Supplier Price and will not be charged separately. Please see dealer for details.

What are dealer trade fees?

Dealers are allowed to charge reasonable fees that are not deemed “excessive” if the vehicle you want is brought in from another dealership.

When does the promotion begin and end?

The Holiday Sales Event is available between Oct. 3, 2017 through Jan. 2, 2018. Please note: these dates are subject to change without notice.

Can I factory order a vehicle?

No. Factory orders are excluded from the Holiday Sales Event.

Is the Holiday Sales Event available in Canada or Mexico?

No. To be eligible for this promotion, you must purchase or lease, take delivery and register your vehicle at a U.S. dealership.

Rebates and Incentives

Are all rebates and incentives applicable?

Most currently available GM incentives that you are eligible to receive are applicable to your purchase. Speak with your Designated Dealer Contact to learn more.

Trade-ins, dealer trades, leases and warranty information

Can I trade a vehicle I currently own and use the value toward this purchase?

Yes. You are more than welcome to trade in your current vehicle and apply its value toward your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac purchase. When you visit the participating dealership, speak with the Authorized Dealer Contact about trading in your vehicle. Please note that Costco Auto Program does not manage or engage in trade-in valuations or related details; it is an agreement between you and the dealer.

Can I lease a vehicle through this promotion?

Yes. You may lease a vehicle during this promotion; same special offer pricing will apply. Our Authorized Dealer Contact will offer you the same price for a lease as for a purchase; the “Agreed upon Value of the Vehicle” in a lease is equivalent to the “Member Price” in a purchase.

Will I receive a full factory warranty?

Yes. You will receive a full factory warranty from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac. Please see dealer for details and coverage.

Costco Cash Card

How do I receive a Costco Cash Card?

To receive your Costco Cash Card, complete the following steps:

  1. Register with the Costco Auto Program to locate a dealership that has opted in to the Holiday Sales Event and receive a GM Authorization Number.
  2. Make an appointment at the dealership to select your vehicle of choice and take a test drive.
  3. Provide the Authorized Dealer Contact with your GM Authorization Number when you purchase a new 2017 or 2018 Chevrolet: Bolt EV, Camaro, Colorado, Corvette, Cruze, Equinox, Express, Impala, Malibu, Silverado, Sonic, Spark, SS, Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, Trax or Volt; Buick: Cascada, Encore, Enclave, Envision, LaCrosse or Regal; GMC: Acadia, Canyon, Savana, Sierra, Terrain, Yukon or Yukon XL; Cadillac: ATS, CT6, CTS, Escalade, XT5 or XTS between Oct. 3, 2017, through Jan. 2, 2018; or a 2017 or 2018 Chevrolet City Express between Oct. 10, 2017, and Jan. 2, 2018.
  4. Complete a redemption form. Redemption forms must be submitted to the Costco Auto Program within 30 days of purchase or lease.
  5. Once General Motors verifies that your vehicle purchase qualifies as part of the Holiday Sales Event, a Costco Auto Program representative will call you to complete a Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey. Please note: The verification process may take three to four weeks. The Costco Auto Program will validate your membership at the time of registration and redemption form submission to determine your eligibility for Costco Cash Card amount.
    • $700 for Executive Members
    • $300 for Gold Star and Business Members

After completing the survey, your Costco Cash Card will be mailed to the address you submitted to Costco Auto Program. Please allow eight weeks for delivery, pending completion of all eligibility requirements; including redemption form, purchase verification from General Motors and survey completion.

Can I upgrade to an Executive Membership to receive the higher-valued cash card?

Yes. Gold Star and Business Members interested in receiving the higher-valued Costco Cash Card can easily upgrade their membership level to Executive; prior to purchase, call a Promotion Specialist at 1-888-211-5977 for more details. If you have already registered for this promotion, please complete a change of membership form so we can update our records. This will (1) ensure the correct Costco Cash Card value is processed, and (2) help avoid additional delays in Costco Cash Card delivery.

How do I access the Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey? Do I need to complete it to qualify for the Costco Cash Card?

Yes, you must complete the Costco Auto Program member satisfaction phone survey to receive the Costco Cash Card. A Costco Auto Program representative will call you to complete your survey once General Motors has verified your purchase or, you may call us at your convenience after you receive our email. Please note: The verification process may take three to four weeks. If it is more convenient, you may call us at 1-888-548-7227.

How long will it take to receive my Costco Cash Card?

Please allow eight weeks for delivery, pending completion of all eligibility requirements; including: (1) purchase an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac model using your GM Authorization Number; (2) submit a redemption form; (3) receive purchase verification from General Motors; and (4) complete a Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey.

Note: After you purchase or lease an eligible vehicle during the Holiday Sales Event, you can track your progress toward receiving your Costco Cash Card. Simply log in with your Authorization Number and email address to begin.

Where do I find my redemption form?

Redemption forms can be completed online. Please allow three to five business days for redemption form processing, once received. You will need your Authorization Number to access the redemption form online. All submissions must be received by Costco Auto Program within 30 days of purchase.

Where can I use my Costco Cash Card?

Costco Cash Cards can only be used at Costco warehouse and gas station locations, and online at Costco.com. It cannot be used at other Costco vendor or service sites like Costco Travel. Costco Cash Cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
