What is Costco Member Pricing?

As a Costco Member you will receive the best incentive value available for the eligible vehicle, which includes GM Supplier Pricing, a percentage off MSRP or any other publicly available incentive. Plus, the Costco Member will also receive the Costco Shop Card.

Which vehicles are available through this promotion?

Eligible vehicles for the 2019 and 2020 model year promotion include:

  • Buick: Cascada, Encore, Enclave, Envision, LaCrosse, Regal
  • Cadillac: CT6, Escalade, XT4, XT5, ATS, CTS, XTS, XT6
  • Chevrolet:Blazer, Bolt, Camaro, Colorado, Cruze, Equinox, Express, Impala, Malibu, Silverado, Sonic, Spark, Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, Trax, Volt

What is my GM Authorization Number?

Authorization Numbers are assigned by General Motors to every Costco member who registers for the Season of Values promotion. You will receive your GM Authorization Number after you register for the promotion; along with a confirmation email for your records. You must bring it with you when visiting the participating dealership. Click here to register.

What is my GM Authorization Number used for?

Your Authorization Number is used by General Motors to ensure buyers qualify for the Season of Values promotion. You must present your Authorization Number to the Designated Dealer Contact at the time of purchase to be eligible for the 2019 and 2020 Costco Member Pricing and Costco Shop Card incentive.

Do I have to pay any dealer fees?

Tax, title (documentation) and license fees are not included in the Costco Member Pricing. Unless otherwise allowed by law, dealers will charge $75 for documentation fees. Destination and advertising fees are included in the Costco Member Pricing and will not be charged separately. Please see dealer for details.

What are dealer trade fees?

Dealers are allowed to charge reasonable fees that are not deemed “excessive” if the vehicle you want is brought in from another dealership.

When does the promotion begin and end?

The Season of Values promotion is available between Oct. 1, 2019, through Jan. 2, 2020. Please note: these dates are subject to change without notice.

Can I factory order a vehicle?

Factory orders are excluded from the Season of Values promotion.

Is the Season of Values Promotion available in Canada or Mexico?

No. To be eligible for this promotion, you must purchase or lease, take delivery and register your vehicle at a U.S. dealership.

Are manufacturer incentives applicable?

Most compatible GM incentives that you are eligible to receive are applicable to your 2019 or 2020 model year Season of Values promotion purchase. Speak with your Designated Dealer Contact to learn more.

Trade-ins, dealer trades, leases and warranty information

Can I trade a vehicle I currently own and use the value toward this purchase?

Yes, you are welcome to trade in your current vehicle and apply its value toward your new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac purchase or lease. When you visit the participating dealership, speak with the Designated Dealer Contact about trading in your vehicle. Please note that Costco Auto Program does not manage or engage in trade-in valuations or related details; it is an agreement between you and the dealer.

Can I lease a vehicle through this promotion?

Yes, you may lease a vehicle during the Season of Values promotion. The Designated Dealer Contact will apply the Costco Member Pricing to your 2019 or 2020 purchase. The “Agreed upon Value of the Vehicle” in a lease is equivalent to the “Member Price” in a purchase.

Will I receive a full factory warranty?

Yes, your purchase of a new vehicle through Costco Auto Program is a retail transaction with a full factory warranty from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac. Please see dealer for details and coverage.

COSTCO SHOP CARD INCENTIVE

How do I receive a Costco Shop Card?

To receive your Costco Shop Card, complete the following steps:

  1. Register with the Costco Auto Program to locate a dealership that has opted in to the Season of Values promotion and receive an Authorization Number.
  2. Make an appointment at the dealership to select your vehicle of choice and take a test drive.
  3. Provide the Designated Dealer Contact your Authorization Number when you purchase an eligible, new 2019 or 2020 model from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac between Oct. 1, 2019, to Jan. 2, 2020.
  4. After purchase, complete a redemption form online, over the phone or by mail. Redemption forms must be submitted to Costco Auto Program by Jan. 31, 2020
  5. Once General Motors verifies that your vehicle purchase qualifies as part of the Season of Values promotion, a Promotions Specialist will call you to complete a Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey. Please note: The verification process may take three to four weeks. Costco Auto Program will validate your membership at the time of registration and redemption form submission to determine your eligibility for Costco Shop Card amount.
    • $700 for Executive Members
    • $300 for Gold Star and Business Members

After completing the survey, your Costco Shop Card will be mailed to the address you submitted to Costco Auto Program. Please allow eight weeks for delivery, pending completion of all eligibility requirements; including redemption form, purchase verification from General Motors and survey completion.

Can I upgrade to an Executive Membership to receive the higher-valued Costco Shop Card?

Yes. Gold Star and Business Members interested in receiving the higher-valued Costco Shop Card can easily upgrade their membership level to Executive; prior to purchase, call a Promotions Specialist at 1-877-746-7422 for more details. If you have already registered for this promotion, please complete a change of membership form so we can update our records. This will (1) ensure the correct Costco Shop Card value is processed, and (2) help avoid additional delays in Costco Shop Card delivery.

How do I access the Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey? Do I need to complete it to qualify for the Costco Shop Card?

Yes, you must complete the Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey to receive the Costco Shop Card. A Promotions Specialist will call you to complete your survey once General Motors has verified your purchase or, you may call us at your convenience after you receive our email. Please note: The verification process may take three to four weeks. If it is more convenient, you may call us at 1-855-332-2761.

How long will it take to receive my Costco Shop Card?

Please allow eight weeks for delivery, pending completion of all eligibility requirements; including: (1) the purchase of an eligible, new 2019 or 2020 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac model using your Authorization Number; (2) submitting a redemption form; (3) receiving purchase verification from General Motors; and (4) completing a Costco Auto Program member satisfaction survey.

Where can I use my Costco Shop Card?

Costco Shop Cards can only be used at Costco warehouse and gas station locations, Costco Travel and online at Costco.com. It cannot be used at any other Costco vendor or service sites. Costco Shop Cards are not redeemable for cash; except as required by law.
